Changelog

What shipped, and when.

Roughly dated. Some entries are bigger than others. The first one is the smallest — a single screen with a week count. The most recent is whatever I shipped on the last Sunday night I worked on it.

  1. September 16, 2026 v0.33
    • Preg is on the web. The same app that runs on our two phones now builds as an installable web app at preg.blaustfaust.house — open it in Safari or Chrome, add it to your home screen, and it runs full-screen like anything else on the phone.
    • An install guide at /install: the iPhone steps, the Android steps, and the short honest list of what still needs the App Store version — the subscription, the Sketchbook, importing shower guests from Contacts, and Apple sign-in. Everything else is there.
    • Preg HQ moved to preghq.blaustfaust.house. The old address keeps working — nobody's bookmark breaks.
    • The home page and the app tour now lead with "install it" instead of "join the waitlist." The waitlist stays open, one quiet line lower: the App Store listing is still the next milestone.
  2. June 10, 2026 v0.32
    • Preg HQ launched — this site stopped being a portfolio piece and became the home for the whole brand: the app, the Village, a real shop, and resources for the family around a pregnancy.
    • The Village moved in: the live family board now runs at /village/board here, identical to before. The original address keeps working — nobody's bookmark breaks.
    • The shop went real: Stripe checkout with print-on-demand fulfillment, starting carefully in test mode.
    • App Store waitlist opened. RevenueCat subscription plumbing is wired into the app; the listing itself is the next milestone.
  3. May 2026 v0.31
    • Cravings and aversions map gets a search field and a week-filter pill.
    • Daily Brief tone pass — Megan said the AI was being too formal again.
    • Bug fix: kick counter undo was off by one on rapid-tap sessions.
  4. April 2026 v0.30
    • Shared Sketchbook released: live canvas with five brushes, color wheel, stamps, real-time sync between phones, exportable.
    • In-app chat: read receipts and typing indicators.
    • EPUB reader: font-size and sepia theme.
  5. March 2026 v0.29
    • Daily Word puzzle gains hard mode and a partner grid that shows progress without revealing letters.
    • Postpartum mode visual pass — quieter, more whitespace.
    • Recovery tracking screen rebuilt around free-write instead of structured fields.
  6. February 2026 v0.28
    • Games Hub gets Chess (chess.js, pawn promotion modal, check highlight) and Checkers (mandatory capture, multi-jump, kings).
    • Scoreboard screen across all games.
    • Rules modals for every game.

    • Reference library: ten new entries on third-trimester topics.
  8. December 2025 v0.26
    • Ask The Books cite-per-sentence pass. Answers now read like textbook excerpts with sources at each claim.
    • Pinecone index rebuilt with smaller chunks and more overlap. Recall up substantially.
    • Saved Answers library introduced inside the app.
  9. November 2025 v0.25
    • Bookshelf released. EPUB and PDF reader with metadata and cover extraction, TOC, font sizing, position restore.

    • Name Board: stars and nos from both partners, sort options.

    • Daily Brief becomes role-aware (mine mentions Megan, hers mentions me).

How releases work

Most evenings, I push small things over the air through Expo's update channel — so when Megan opens the app in the morning, whatever I shipped the night before is on her phone. The bigger features are bundled on Sunday nights. Bug fixes for anything Megan reports during the day get pushed immediately, usually within an hour.
