Privacy, in plain English.
The short version: this site collects almost nothing, the shop collects what it needs to ship you a mug, the Village is private and invite-only, and we don't sell, rent, or trade anything about you to anyone. The longer version is below, and it's written to be read.

Browsing this site
There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no tracking cookie on these pages. The site is static files served by Firebase Hosting (a Google service), which keeps standard server logs — things like IP address, request time, and the page requested — to run the service. We don't use those logs to identify you.
The waitlist
If you join the App Store waitlist, we store exactly three things: your email address, which page you signed up from, and when. We use it for one purpose — telling you when the app is available — and then its job is done. No newsletter, no marketing funnel, no sharing it with anyone. If you want your email removed before then, write to us (address below) and it's gone.
The shop
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us — we never see it and couldn't store it if we wanted to. Stripe shares with us the things a shop needs: what you bought, your shipping address, and your email for the receipt.
Orders are printed and shipped by Printful, a print-on-demand service. To do that, we pass them your name, shipping address, email, and what you ordered. That's the whole reason they have it — printing the thing and putting it on a truck.
We keep a record of each order (what was bought, where it shipped, its status) so we can help if something goes wrong. We don't use your purchase history for anything else. Stripe's and Printful's own privacy policies cover their side of the work.
The Village
The Village is a private, invite-only family space. Its posts, photos, comments, letters, and member list are visible only to the family members the parents invited — never to the public, never to search engines, never to us for any purpose beyond operating the service. Signing in uses Firebase Authentication (Google), and family content lives in Firebase's Firestore and Storage services with access rules that enforce the invite-only boundary. We don't mine it, analyze it, or monetize it. It's a cork board for a family. That's all it will ever be.
The app
The Preg mobile app isn't publicly available yet. When it is, it will carry its own privacy policy in the app and on this page — written the same way, in plain English, before launch.
Where data lives
Everything runs on Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication) plus Stripe (payments) and Printful (fulfillment). We don't run our own servers, and we don't move data anywhere beyond those services.
What we'll never do
- Sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To anyone. Ever.
- Send marketing email you didn't ask for.
- Put ads or third-party trackers on this site or in the Village.
- Use family content from the Village for anything other than showing it to the family.
Questions or removal requests
Email hello@preghq.blaustfaust.house and a human — there is exactly one of us — will answer. If you ask us to delete your waitlist entry or your order records (where the law lets us), we will.
If this policy ever changes in a way that matters, the change will be dated here and described honestly, not buried.
